NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old man in Maharashtra‘s Palghar district has been arrested for driving inebriated and killing a lady faculty professor.
The incident occurred on Thursday round 6.30 pm, when professor Atmaja Kasat, 45, was strolling dwelling and was struck by a automobile throughout the limits of Arnala Sagri police station.
The professor sustained critical accidents and was taken to a hospital and the place she was later declared useless.
Senior inspector Vijay Patil acknowledged {that a} medical check confirmed that the driving force, Shubham Pratap Patil, was drunk on the time of the accident.
