India kicks off mega multi-nation air fight train at Sulur | India Information

NEW DELHI: The primary-ever multi-nationTarang Shaktiair fight train to be hosted by India kicked off at Sulur in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, with Rafale and Eurofighter Storm jets in addition to navy plane from France, Germany, UK and Spain taking to the skies together with frontline IAF fighters.
Section-II of the mega train can be performed with different international locations at Jodhpur from Aug 29 to Sept 12 after Section-I concludes on August 14.In all, 67 fighters and navy plane from 10 international locations and observers from one other 18, will participate in Tarang Shakti to strengthen India’s navy interoperability and strategic partnerships throughout the globe.

India can also be showcasing its defence manufacturing capabilities and capability by expositions on the side-lines of the train in addition to prepare visits of international officers to defence R&D and technical hubs at Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
German ambassador Philipp Ackermann stated, “Tarang Shakti is Germany’s first joint train with India on the subcontinent. Very thrilling to witness it on the bottom – and within the air! It showcases our deepened partnership with India for a safe and affluent area, along with our European pals.”
