NEW DELHI: CBI has arrested an assistant director of Enforcement Directorate in reference to an alleged bribery case. In an announcement, ED mentioned, “Taking instant cognisance of this incident and following the coverage of zero tolerance in direction of corruption, ED has initiated felony motion towards Sandeep Singh underneath the Prevention of Cash Laundering Act. An ECIR is registered towards him and a search operation performed at his residence on Aug 8 underneath the provisions of PMLA by ED in order to assemble proof of his felony actions.”
