BHOPAL: A video of a lady scrubbing unlawful firearms has led to a crackdown on a bootleg pistol manufacturing unit within the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.
Motion was reported from Ganeshpura village, below the Mahua police station space in Morena district. The footage, which went viral on social media, confirmed the lady cleansing pistols with a brush in bulk, main authorities to analyze.
Upon verifying the authenticity of the video and figuring out the suspects, police executed a raid on the suspected manufacturing unit at 8 pm on Friday.
Throughout the operation, they arrested Shakti Kapoor Sakhwar, the lady’s husband, and Biharilal, her father-in-law, as they tried to flee with a cache of weapons.
The raid led to the haul of semi-manufactured firearms, 315 bore pistols, and 32 bore pistols, all within the possession of Shakti Kapoor.
Additional inspection of the premises unveiled an array of supplies and equipment used for the unlawful manufacturing of weapons. This led to the arrest of each suspects and the registration of a case below the Arms Act at roughly 1 am on Saturday.
Police introduced them earlier than the Ambah courtroom. Biharilal Sakhwar was remanded to jail, whereas Shakti Kapoor was positioned on one-day police remand.
The police interrogated Kapoor to uncover the complete extent of the unlawful arms distribution community and determine any extra collaborators. Investigations are underway.
