The Institute of Management Studies at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) recently concluded its placement season with remarkable success. A total of 181 offers were extended to 165 students, setting a new benchmark for the forthcoming year.
Key Highlights:
- Average Package: The average package stands at Rs 11.1 lakh per annum.
- Highest Offer: The highest offer received was an impressive Rs 23.5 lakh per annum.
- Companies: Over 65 companies participated in the recruitment process, including Infosys, Genpact, Cognizant, Mahindra Finance, Adani Wilmar, and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle.
- Roles: Students secured a variety of roles, with 36% offered executive and management trainee positions. Additionally, 21% secured associate and senior consultant roles, while 13% took on assistant and deputy manager responsibilities.
- Preparation: BHU actively prepares students through personality development programs, corporate engagements, summer training, aptitude tests, group discussions, and personalized mock interviews.

In the BFSI sector, firms like South Indian Bank, Bandhan Bank, and SBI Life offered lucrative positions across domains such as marketing, finance, operations, and HR. IT organizations like Cognizant, Infosys, and Genpact also contributed significantly to the placements.
The BHU MBA placement record remains strong, with around 95% of students securing placements in top multinational companies. As we look ahead, BHU continues to empower students for rewarding careers.
