ALMORA: A 19-year-old scholar, a scholar of sophistication XI, was denied permission to attend courses at an inter faculty in Almora after her marriage, with the varsity citing “insurance policies towards married college students” for the choice. The varsity authorities stated “permitting a married lady to sit down within the classroom would disrupt the varsity’s setting” and urged that she proceed her schooling privately.
