Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday mentioned he would have nominated wrestler Vinesh Phogat to the Rajya Sabha if the Congress had the numbers within the state meeting. The grappler bid adieu to her worldwide wrestling profession on Thursday, saying she didn’t have the power to proceed. Saying her determination to retire on social media, the 29-year-old — disqualified from the Olympic Video games after being discovered 100 gm chubby forward of her gold medal bout within the 50 kg class — sought forgiveness from everybody who supported her.
